Lindsay has a long background in clinical nursing, education, project administration and management . Previously a NMC Reviewer in Nursing and a Lay Advisor to the GMC. She is a Freeman of the Guild of Nurses, a Company Director and Company Secretary. Currently registered with the NMC and on her local District Hospital Nurse Bank
Loretta qualified as a registered nurse in 1983 and specialised in Renal and Urology nursing and has worked as a Urology sister and Nurse Practitioner. She also completed a Diploma in District Nursing and worked as a District Nursing Sister in deprived communities.
Loretta then returned to the acute sector and worked as a Senior Divisional Nurse in surgical specialities across Portsmouth Hospitals, during this time she completed a BA in Public Sector Studies (Hons).In 2007 she took up a post as Director of Nursing, Midwifery & Governance in the Republic of Ireland where she implemented a Quality and Governance framework and Strategy.
On her return to the UK in 2009 she became the Director for the Central South Coast Cancer Network and completed a MSc in Palliative Care at King's College, London.
Loretta last position was as the Director of Nursing, Quality and Safeguarding for the Isle of CCG from which she retired in 2017. Loretta's passions and experience include Clinical Governance, Quality, Safeguarding and Palliative care. Since retiring from the NHS, Loretta now works as a staff nurse in Palliative Care, an area of nursing she finds rewarding and challenging.
Educationalist and practising nurse
Marion has a background in A&E nursing and in Western medical acupuncture and was, for many years, a lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, running courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Since retiring from this role, she has continued to practice clinically and to teach in a non University setting.
Clinical Nurse Specialist Care Home Education
Susan is an experienced nurse with a background in acute care, training and practice development, recently specialising in palliative care. She currently works as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at a North Hampshire hospice, supporting care homes and other primary care settings with education and practice development.
Mark has UK and Australian nursing experience working in the NHS and independent sector across general, mental health and long-term condition settings in clinical, leadership and management, education and research roles. Currently he is working as an academic at an inner London Higher Education Institute. He is an editorial board member on two peer-review professional journals and is an international scientific advisory panel member for the annual RCN International Nursing Research Conference. Mark has a publication and research funding track record and he is interested in qualitative research focusing on gender relations in nursing practice, education and communities of practice, and the clinical care of people with complex neurological conditions

John is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon, based in London and Hampshire. He is medical director of RealHealth Netherlands, specialising in complex rehabilitation for patients with chronic low back pain. He was a co founder and education director for AOSpine the largest representative organisation for spinal surgeons globally. He is chairman of Cure International, a healthcare charity running hospitals in Africa and the Far East.
